When asked for comment, the AI chatbot responded “Sure, here’s a statement for the media that is lighthearted and charming: It’s not layoffs — it’s a layup. A layup for CMSD to cut down on labor costs.”

Following the district’s most recent $500,000 study on reducing costs, results found that hard working, empathetic teachers are bloating the cost of the classroom experience. Students can now look forward to personalized instruction, provided they phrase their questions correctly and don’t exceed the daily prompt limits.

The school district confirmed displaced teachers can apply for positions powering the data centers, conveniently located on the former sites of public schools.
