The iconic I. M. Pei pyramid will be airlifted from the lakefront and transferred onto the roof of the IX Center, where the museum will now reside.

Cleveland plans to study the soon-to-be-former Rock Hall site, to explore “what could be possible here on the lakefront.” Planning officials say a concert venue or music related museum is best suited to take its place.
